an entire orchestra.

Sarah Stevens Acoustic Guitar Virtuoso Playing Dream a Little Dream of Me

I play solo fingerstyle guitar, live, without loops or backing tracks. Between songs I talk about life, my transition, and the absurd things that happen along the way. It's a guitar concert where people laugh.

Whoever gives Sarah’s album ‘Still Waters Run Deep’ a chance, and in my opinion, everyone should, will be pleasantly surprised by her exquisite guitar playing and the beautiful imagery it evokes.

About Sarah

I am a fingerstyle guitarist from Rotterdam. I play in the tradition of Tommy Emmanuel and Harry Sacksioni: melody, bass and percussion all at once, on one acoustic guitar, no loops, no backing tracks, no safety net.

I've opened for Tommy Emmanuel at De Doelen Grote Zaal, toured Germany with Michael Fix, and played everything from concert halls to cruise ships. The stories I tell between songs are as much a part of the show as the music. My gender transition is a big part of those stories, but really it's about being human: the things that hurt, the things that made me laugh, and everything in between.

If you've never been to a fingerstyle guitar concert because you thought it sounded like homework, this one's different. Come find out.

My new album, After-All, A-Typical, comes out late summer 2026.
